JM Bairstow of England scored 140 at Leeds and 167 not out at Lord’s in the ongoing test series against Sri Lanka to provide the second occasion of a Engalnd wicket keeper batsman scoring two or more centuries in a test series after LEG Ames. Both the occasions are listed below.  LEG Ames had performed such a feat in 1930 against West Indies in West Indies and it took another eighty six years for an England wicket keeper to emulate LEG Ames.
