CR Woakes’ 11 for 102 was in a losing cause in the just concluded Lord’s test against Pakistan to provide the 13^th occasion of an England bowler’s ten wicket performance going in vain. It is interesting to note CR Woakes became the first England bowler to witness his ten wickets in a losing cause at Lord’s. All the 13 such occasions are listed below.
