HMRKB Herath has a unique record in the annals of test cricket. As a left arm spin bowler he has taken six ten wicket hauls which are listed below. It is interesting to note that all his ten wicket hauls have resulted in Sri Lanka winning the test. The latest ten wicket haul is his 13 for 143 against Australia at Col-SSC. Thus whenever HMRKB Herath has captured a ten wicket haul Sri Lanka has never lost a test. He remains the only left arm spin bowler in the annals of test cricket to capture six ten wicket hauls resulting in his team’s victory.
