Amit Verma scored 125 not out for Assam against Karnataka at the end of the first day to provide the tenth occasion of his scoring a century in Ranji Trophy. He played for Karnataka till 2014-15 season and opted to play for Kerala. He represented Kerala till 2015-16 season.
