R Ashwin has an aggregate of 67 wickets against Australia. Three more wickets would fetch him 70 wickets. He took four wickets in this test to take his tally of wickets to 71 against Australia. He became the fourth Indian bowler to capture 70 plus wickets against Australia. Others are – A Kumble {111}, Harbhajan Singh {95} and N Kapil Dev {79}

R Ashwin had an aggregate of 46 wickets against Australia at home. He needed four more wickets for his 50 wickets. He took four wickets in this test to take his tally of wickets to 50 against Australia at home. He become the third Indian bowler to capture 50 plus wickets against Australia at home. Other two are – Harbhajan Singh {86} and A Kumble {62}

He took four wickets in this test to take his tally of wickets to 50 against Australia at home.
