SPD Smith has been appointed as the captain to lead Rising Pune  in IPL 2017. He becomes the  third  cricketer to lead three teams in IPL. Others are KC Sangakkara {Deccan, Punjab, Sunrisers} and DPMD Jayawardene {Delhi, Punjab, Kochi}. Interestingly enough, all these three cricketers are overseas cricketers
