Today’s first game between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions at Hyd-RGS was the 100th IPL game for Sunrisers Wicket keeper batsman NV Ojha. He became the fifth wicket keeper batsman in IPL to appear in 100 games. Others are – MS Dhoni  {145}, KD Karthik {140}, RV Uthappa {136} and PA Patel {104}

 

He took a catch in Gujarat Lions’s innings to take his tally of dismissals in IPL to 70.  He became the fourth wicket keeper in the history of IPL to effect 70 plus dismissals. Others are – KD Karthik {98}, MS Dhoni {90 and RV Uthappa {75}

 

NV Ojha’s lone catch in this game gave him a tally of 100 catches in T20 games. He became the fifth wicket keeper to pouch 100 plus catches  in the history of T20 games. Others are – KC Sangakkara {123}, MS Dhoni {119}, KD Karthik {113} and Kamran Akmal {110}
