RV Uthappa becomes the seventh batsman in the history of Indian Premier League to aggregate 3500 plus runs

RV Uthappa became the seventh batsman in the history of the Indian Premier League to complete 3500 runs. At the end of the Kolkata’s innings against Gujarat at Kolkata on 21.04.17, his run aggregate read 3564. The following table lists all the seven batsmen who have accomplished the feat. It is interesting to note that RV Uthappa became the second batsman in the history of the tournament to aggregate 3500 plus runs without scoring a century after G Gambhir. G Gambhir’s highest score is 93, while RV Uthappa’s highest score is 83 not out. Both Gambhir and RV Uthappa are representing Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing IPL 2017
