Sri Lankan second innings – third innings of the test – contained two centurions – FDM Karunaratne {141} and BKG Mendis {110} in  the  just  concluded test against  India  at Col-SSC to provide the 14^th occasion of two or more batsmen scoring centuries in the third  innings of a test after the team  had followed on. It also provides the first such occasion by Sri Lankan batsmen.  All such occasions are tabulated below
