M Vijay {128}, CA Pujara {143} and V Kohli {123*} scored centuries in India’s first innings {second innings of the test} against Sri Lanka at Nagpur in the ongoing test to provide the ninth occasion of batsmen batting at number two, three and four scoring centuries in a test innings in the annals of test cricket.
