KL Rahul of Punjab scored 50 in 14 deliveries against Delhi at Mohali on 08.04.18 to create the record for the fastest 50 in IPL. He  obliterated the existing record for fastest 50 in IPL held by YK Pathan who had scored the 50 in 15 deliveries representing Kolkata against Sunrisers at Kolkata on 24.05.14
