India has played 101 T20Is so far. It has won 63 games, lost 35, one game was tied and 2 games have ended as No result games.

India’s highest team total in T20Is is 260 for 5 against Sri Lanka at Indore on 22 Dec 17. This total is one of the three team totals in excess of 260 runs posted by a team in the history of T20 Internationals. Other two are – Australia’s 263 for 3 against Sri  Lanka at Pallekele on 06 Sep 16 and Sri Lanka’s 260 for 6 against Kenya at Johannesburg on 14 Sep 07.

India’s lowest team total in a completed innings in 74 against Australia at Melbourne on  01 Feb 2018. This total is  one of three team totals  less than 100 runs  in a completed innings by India in T20 internationals. Other two are – 92 against South Africa at Cuttack on 05 Oct 2015 and 79 against New Zealand at Nagpur  on 15 Mar 16

V Kohli has amassed 1992 runs in T20Is and is the top run getter in T20Is. He is also one of the five  Indian batsmen who  have an aggregate of 1000 plus  runs. Others are – RG Sharma {1949}, SK Raina {1578}, MS Dhoni {1455} and Yuvraj Singh {1177}

V Kohli has an aggregate of 1992 runs and RG Sharma has  an aggregate of 2949 runs prior the T20I against England on 03 Jul 18. They need eight and 51 more runs for their 2000 runs. If they get it, they would then become the fourth and fifth batsman in the history of 20Is to total 2000 plus runs. Others are – MJ Guptill {2271} and BB McCullum {2140} and Shoib Malik {2039}

V Kohli has scored 18 fifties which is a record for most fifties by a batsman in the history of T20 Internationals

RG Sharma is one of the seven batsmen to score two or more centuries in T20Is. Others are – C Munro {03}, CH Gayle {02}, MJ Guptil {02}, E Lewis {02}, BB McCulllum {02} and GJ Maxwell {02}. He is the only Indian batsman to achieve the feat of scoring two centuries in T20Is.

R Ashwin has an aggregate of 52 wickets in T20Is and is the only Indian bowler who has captured 50 plus wickets in T20Is. He is one of the 23 bowlers who have captured 50 plus wickets in T20 Internationals.

There are 150 occasions  of bowlers capturing four or more wickets in T20Is. Indian bowlers have performed the  feat  on 14 occasions. All such occasions are tabulated below

YS Chahal is the second bowler to capture six wickets in an innings in T20Is after BAW Mendis of Sri Lanka. His effort of 6 for 25 against England at Bengaluru on 01 Feb 17 provides the third occasion of a bowler capturing six wickets in an innings. All such occasions are listed below

136 runs partnership for the first wicket between G Gambhir  and V Sehwag at Durban on 19 Sep 2007 is the only three figure partnership posted by England against England in T20Is.

The 165 runs partnership between KL Rahul and RG Sharma against Sri Lanka at Indore is the best partnership posted by Indian batsmen in T20Is.

SK Raina with 41 catches to his credit holds the  record  for most catches by an Indian fieldsman. He is one of the five fieldsmen who have pouched 40 plus catches in T20Is. Others are – AB de Villiers {44}, LRPL Taylor {44}, DA Warner {41} and Shoaib Malik {40}

MS Dhoni of India holds the record for most dismissals by a wicket keeper in T20Is.with 80 dismissals to his credit. He  is one  of the five wicket keepers who have  effected 50 plus  dismissals in T20Is. Others are – Kamran Akmal {60}, Mohammad Shahzad {54}, D Ramdin {53} and Mushfiqur Rahim {52}

MS Dhoni has pouched 49 catches prior to the game against England He  needs one more catch for his 50 catches. If he pouches one catch, he would then become the first ever wicket keeper in the history of T20Is to pouch 50 catches.

MS Dhoni has effected 31 stumping dismissals prior to the game against England today. He needs one more stumping dismissal for 32 stumping dismissals. If he effects it, he would then share  the record for most stumping dismissal in  the history of T20Is.  Kamran Akmal of Pakistan has effected 32 stumping dismissals.

There are 14 occasion of bowlers conceding 60 plus runs in an innings in T20Is. YS Chahal is the only Indian bowler to concede 60 plus runs in T20I. He returned with figures of none for 64 against South Africa at Centurion on 21 Feb 18
