V Kohli reached the milestone when he was on 8 during his knock of 20 not out against England at Manchester on 03 Jul 18. At the end of this game his run aggregate read 2012. MS Dhoni now owns the record for most stumping dismissals in the history of T20 Internationals

MS Dhoni now owns the record for most stumping dismissals in the history of T20Is. At the end of the first T20I against England at Manchester on 03.07.18, MS Dhoni’s stumping dismissals read a record 33. He went past Kamran Akmal who had owned the record previously with 32 stumping dismissals.

MS Dhoni had 31 stumping dismissals to his credit prior to the start of T20I series against England. He needed two more  dismissals to own the record. His first  stumping dismissal in the first  T20I against England at Manchester – that of  JM Bairstow for zero of K Yadav made him to equal the world record. A delivery later MS Dhoni was destined to own the record when he stumped  JE Root for zero of K Yadav which fetched him his 33rd stumping dismissal The following table lists the 33 stumping dismissals made  by MS Dhoni in T20 Internationals
