England scoreboard read six for 80 in the first innings in the ongoing test against India at Southampton to provide the eleventh occasion of England losing its six wickets for 90 and less than 90 runs in a test innings against India. All such occasions are tabulated below. It also provides the second occasion of England losing its six wickets for 90 and less than 90 runs against India in the first innings of a test. The other occasion was at Nottingham in Jul 2011 when  England had lost its six wickets for 88 runs.
