KL Rahul of India joins the elite list of fieldsmen who have pouched seven or more catches in a test

KL Rahul of India took seven catches at the end of the fourth day of the ongoing test against England at Nottingham to provide the eighth occasion of a fieldsman other than the wicketkeeper to take seven or more catches in a test.  All such occasions are tabulated below

If KL Rahul takes one more catch on the final day of the test – England has one more wicket left – he would then become the third fieldsman and second Indian fieldsman to take eight catches in a test. AM Rahane of India and AB de Villers of South Africa are the  other two fieldsmen to  pouch eight catches  in a test
