Q de Kock of South Africa scored 80 and 55 against Sri Lanka in the just concluded test at Durban was in a losing cause to provide the 22nd occasion of a wicket keeper batsman’s fifties in both innings of a test in a losing cause. All such occasions are tabulated below. Q de Kock became the first South African wicket keeper batsman to witness his twin fifties in a losing cause.
