V Kohli’s 254 not out in the ongoing Test between India and South Africa at Pune provides the seventh occasion of his scoring 200 plus runs in a test innings as captain. He owns the rccord for most 200 plus runs by a captain in the annals of Test cricket. It was also his highest test innings as captain.  His previous best was 243 against Sri Lanka at Delhi in Dec 2017. All such occasions are tabulated below in the chronological order.
