Four or more centuries in a Test innings
Four Pakistan batsmen scored centuries in the third innings of the just concluded test at Karachi against Sri Lanka to provide the 23rd occasion of four or more batsmen scoring centuries in an innings in the annals of Test cricket. All such occasions are tabulated below.
It is noted with interest that it is for the first time in the annals of Test cricket four batsmen have scored centuries in the third innings of a Test. The details of four batsmen who have scored centuries are furnished below

St John’s, Antigua is the only ground in the annals of test cricket to witness eight centuries in a Test – four each by rival teams. Four South African batsmen and Four West Indies batsmen scored centuries in the test between West Indies and South Africa at St John’s in Apr 2005. The eight centuries score in this test is also a record for most centuries in a test and has been witnessed only once in the annals of test cricket
