Abid Ali of Pakistan scored 109 not out against Sri Lanka at Rawalpindi on  his test debut and followed it up with another century {174} at Karachi – the second test of the series.  He became the first Pakistan batsman and ninth overall to score two or more consecutive centuries since test debut.
