Madanlal Sharma remains the only cricketer in the history of Ranji Trophy to score centuries in both innings and capture five wickets in a match. Representing Delhi he scored 140 and 100 and captured five wickets  conceding 56 runs against Railways at Karnail Singh Stadium  in 1980-81 season, His performance has  been listed as 50^th occasion of a cricketer scoring century and capturing five wickets in an innings in Ranji Trophy
