This is the second tied game of the tournament when both the teams posted a similar score – Both the teams posted 157 for the loss of eight wickets. Prior to this Rajasthan and Punjab had scored 191 for 6 at Ahmedabad on 21.04.15 to provide the sixth tied game of the tournament. In all the other eight games, there were variance with regard to the wickets while the score was the same.

This is the second tied game of the tournament played in United Arab Emirates. The game played between Kolkata and Rajasthan at Abu Dhabi on 29.04.14 had ended in a tie.
