England – India : First Test at Nottingham – Third day
RA Jadeja of India completed 2000 runs of his test career when he was on 15 during the course of his innings in India’s first innings in the Nottingham test against England on the third day. Having already captured 221 wickets, he joined the elite list of all round cricketers who have completed the “Double of 2000 runs plus 200 wickets. At the end of India’s innings in this test, he has score 2041 runs. He became the 21st all rounder and also fifth Indian cricketer in the annals of test cricket to perform the feat.
