KS Bharat holds the record of most dismissals in an innings by a substitute wicket keeper – three in the annals of test cricket. JN Hamilton of West Indies and M Rizwan of Pakistan held the previous record with two dismissals.
KS Bharat became the second Indian substitute wicket keeper to effect a dismissal in a test innings after KD Karthik. KD Karthik had caught LT Ngidi of South Africa at Johannesburg in 2017/18
KS Bharat shares the record of most dismissals – caught – in an innings by a substitute wicket keeper – two – in the annals of test cricket with JN Hamilton of West Indies and M Rizwan of Pakistan. These two wicket keepers had effected two dismissals – caught
