RG Sharma’s three boundary sixes in his knock of 56 at Kolkata on 21.11.21 fetched him 150 boundary sixes in T20Is. He became the second batsman in the history of T20Is to score 150 plus boundary sixes. The other batsman is MJ Guptill who has an aggregate of 165 boundary sixes.

MJ Guptill’s two boundary sixes in his knock of 31 at Ranchi on 19.11.21 fetched him 150 boundary sixes in T20Is while opening the innings. He became the first opening batsman in the history of T20Is to score 150 boundary sixes.

RG Sharma’s five boundary fours in his knock of 56 at Kolkata on 21.11.21 fetched him 250 boundary fours in T20Is while opening the innings. He became the fourth opening batsman in the history of T20Is to score 250 plus boundary fours. The other opening batsmen are – PJ Sterling {288}, MJ Guptill {259} and AJ Finch {250}

YS Chahal of India became the 13th Indian cricketer and 114th overall to appear in 50 T20Is. His 50th T20I was the Kolkata T20I on 21.11.21.

RG Sharma’s 56 in the third ODI at Kolkata on 21.11.21 was his 25th fifty in T20Is while opening the innings. He became the first opening batsman in the history of T20Is to score 25 fifties.

HV Patel of India was dismissed hit wicket for 18 in the third T20I against New Zealand at Kolkata on 21 Nov 21 to provide the 18th occasion of a batsman to be dismissed hit wicket in the history of T20Is.

Prior to this KL Rahul was dismissed hit wicket against Sri Lanka at Col-RPS on 12 Mar 2018. Both such occasions are tabulated below. It is interesting to note that KL Rahul and HV Patel have scored identical runs – 18.
