Tamil Nadu leads the list of Centuries in Vijay Hazare Trophy as of 24 Dec 2021

Vijay Hazare Trophy has witnessed 658 centuries since its inception upto the Quarter finals of this season between Saurashtra and Tamilnadu at Jaipur on 24 Dec 2021. Baba Aparajith’s 122 for Tamil Nadu represent the 658th century.

Tamil Nadu leads the list of centuries with 43 centuries to its credit closely followed by Karnataka {40} and Mumbai {39}

AJ Finch joins the elite list of batsmen who have an aggregate of 10000 plus runs in T20 games.

AJ Finch of Australia joined the elite list of batsmen who have completed 10000 runs in T20 games. He reached the milestone when he was on 20  during the course of his knock of 68 in the Big Bash League in the match between  Melbourne Renegades against Perth Scorchers at Melbourne {CS} on 22 Dec 21. He was representing Melbourne Renegades

He became the fifth batsman after CH Gayle, KA Pollard, DA Warner and V Kohli to reach the mile stone. He is also the second Australian batsman to perform the feat after DA Warner.

KD Karthik of Tamil Nadu became the fifth batsman in the history of Vijay Hazare Trophy to compile 3000 plus runs. He reached the milestone when he was on 12 during the course of his knock of 44 in the quarterfinal tie against Karnataka at Jaipur on 21 Dec 2021. At the end of this game his aggregate read 3032. Other batsman to score 3000 plus runs in the tournament are – Yashpal Singh {3193}, RV Uthappa {3115}, A Mukund {3048} and MK Tiwari {3007}

KD Karthik is the second Tamil Nadu batsman to compile 3000 plus runs in Vijay Hazare Trophy after A Mukund.

KD Karthik requires seventeen more runs to become the highest run getter for Tamil Nadu in Vijay Hazare Trophy. 17 more runs would fetch him 3049 runs and he would go past A Mukund who has scored 3048 runs in the tournament.
