RJ Burns was dismissed for a duck in England’s first innings to provide the 101st occasion of an England batsman dismissed for a duck in an innings against Australia. It also provides the 70th occasion of an England batsman dismissed for a duck in an innings against Australia on away soil.

DA Warner and RJ Burns were dismissed for ducks for Australia and England in the first and second innings respectively in this test to provide the 62nd  occasion of rival openers dismissed for ducks in the first and second innings of a test in the annals of test.
