Rehan Ahmed of England captured five for 48 in the third innings of the just concluded test against Pakistan at Karachi to provide the 175th occasion of a bowler capturing five or more wickets on debut in a test innings. It also provides the 14th occasion of a bowler capturing five or more wickets on debut in a test innings against Pakistan.

It also provides the 53rd occasion of an England bowler capturing five or more wickets on debut in a test innings. All such occasions are tabulated below
