An interesting coincidence

An interesting coincidence

C Ramachandra Rao observes an interesting coincidence in the second one day international between India and Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens.

At the end of 32 overs and one ball,  India chasing a target of 216 for a series win against SL in ODIs were at 151/4, still needing 65 runs off 107 remaining legitimate deliveries. Interestingly at the same point that is at the end of 32 overs and one ball India has added 65 runs off 105 deliveries during the fifth wicket partnership between KL Rahul and HH Pandya. The fifth wicket partnership yielded 76 runs.
