Team totals of 500 plus runs in a test innings without a century
Sri Lanka’s total of 531 against Bangladesh in the recently concluded test at Chattogram represents the highest team total by a team without a century in the annals of test cricket. The previous best was India’s 524 for 9 declared against New Zealand at Kanpur in 1976-77. The following table lists the five occasions of a team posting 500 plus runs in an innings without a century
