SM Gavaskar of India – the owner of many records in the history of cricket, also owns a dubious record not known to many. He has been dismissed for a first ball ducj while opening the innings at number one position on five occasions. He remains the only opening batsman batting at number one to be dismissed for a first ball duck in an innings on five occasions in the annals of test cricket
