DP Nannes of Bangalore returned with figures of 1.0-1-0-1 against Mumbai at Bangalore on 12.04.2011. DP Nannes bowling figures provide the only occasion of a bowler bowling only one over in an innings which was a maiden over and capturing a wicket in the Indian Premier League. It also provides the only occasion of a bowler capturing a wicket without conceding a run in the Indian Premier League.

V Sooryavanshi of Rajasthan created a new record for most boundary sixes in a season in Indian Premier League. He has scored 65 boundary sixes as on 27.05.26. He went past CH Gayle of Bangalore who had scored 59 boundary sixes in 212 season. V Sooryanshi is the fourth batsman to score 50 plus boundary sixes in a season of Indian Premier League. The four batsmen are – V Sooryavanshi of Rajasthan – 65 boundary sixes in 2012, CH Gayle of Bangalore – 59 boundary sixes on 2012, AD Russel of Kolkata – 52 boundary sixes in 2019 and CH Gayle of Bangalore – 51 boundary sixes in 2013. Bangalore became the third team to win the IPL Title back to back in the history of Indian Premier League. Chennai has won 2010 and 2011, Mumbai in 2019 and 2020 and Bangalore {2025 and 2026}
