The just concluded Indian Premier League 2026 witnessed a record thirteen batsmen scoring five or more fifties. The previous record for most fifties in an edition is ten – in 2025 edition
Sai sudarhan of Titans became the second batsman to score nine or more fifties in an IPL edition. He scored nine fifties in the just concluded 2026 editon. V Kohli has scored eleven fifties in 2010 edition.
V Kohli became the most capped player in the history of Indian Premier League. He has played 283 matches and is followed by RG Sharma who has played 281 matches, V Kohli and RG Sharma went past MS Dhoni who owned the record with 278 matches prior to the start of 2026 edition
MS Dhoni is the only batsman in the history of Indian Premier League to remain not out on 100 occasion. His career figures in IPL read thus
