Bowlers who have captured 400 plus test wickets – DW Steyn of South Africa joins the elite club

DW Steyn  of South Afirca captured his 400th test wicket today when he took the wicket of Tamim Iqbal caught by HM Amla for 6 on the first day of the ongoing second test against Bangladesh. He picked up two more wickets at the end of the first day’s play to take his wicket aggregate to 402. He became the thirteenth bowler in the annals of test cricket to capture 400 plus test wickets.  The following table lists all the thirteen bowlers who have captured 400 plus test wickets in the descending order of wickets captured.
