Captains scoring five or more centuries in a season – SPD Smith becomes the second captain

SPD Smith of Australia became the second captain in the annals of test cricket to score five hundreds in a season after RT Ponting. RT Ponting  on his  part had scored eight centuries  in 2005-06 season.
