Australian batsmen posted the first ever 200 runs partnership in the history of T20 Internationals when AJ Finch and DJM Short added 223 runs for the first wicket against Zimbabwe at Harare on 03 Jul 18. The previous bestnership was 171 runs unfinished partnership for the first wicket between MJ Guptil and KS Williamson of New Zeland against  Pakistan at Hamilton on 17 Jan 16.
