Hazarathulla Zazai and Usman Ghani added 236 runs for the first wicket to provide the record opening wicket partnership  in T20Is.  The previous best was 223 runs partnership between AJ Finch and DJM Short in the game between Australia and Zimbabwe at Harare on 03.07.18

It also represents the highest partnership recorded for any wicket in T20Is. It also provides the second occasion of batsmen posting 200 plus runs partnership in T20Is.

Hazarathulla Zazai and Usman Ghani scored 162 not out and 73 respectively in this game to provide the fifth occasion of opening batsmen scoring  a century and a half century in the history of T20Is. It also provides the first occasion of one of the opening batsman scoring 150 plus runs and another scoring a half century in the  history of  T20Is
