T20 World Cup 2022 – Match No 26 – Australia vs England at Melbourne on Oct 28, 2022
This game was abandoned due to rain interference to provide the third occasion of an abandoned game without a ball being bowled in the history of the T20 World Cup. Prior to this there were two games abandoned with toss and considered as No result matches. The distinct difference between a match abandoned with toss and the match abandoned without a ball being bowled is the playing eleven in the games which are abandoned with toss will get the match counted in their career figures while the playing eleven in the games which are abandoned without a ball being bowled will not get the match counted in their career figures.
