Number Crunch
India posted its 100th test win in the test against Sri Lanka at Kanpur in Nov 2009. India won this test by an innings and 144 runs. The chief architect of this was S Sreesanth who on his comeback captured five wickets conceding 71 runs in the first innings and 1 for 47 in the second innings. The whole cricketing world knew that India carved its 100th test win, but did not know the importance attached to Sreesanth’s five for 71 in the first innings. His five wicket haul was the 100th occasion of an Indian bowler capturing five or more wickets in India’s winningtests
