R Ashwin now occupies the second place in the list of bowlers who have captured most wickets on home soil in the fourth innings of a test with 73 wickets to his credit. SK Warne with 77 wickets occupies the first place. R Ashwin went past HMRKB Herath who had 72 wickets to occupy the second place.

R Ashwin’s six wickets in the fourth innings of this test fetched 99 wickets. He owns the Indian record for most wickets in the fourth innings of the test. He went past A Kumble who has 94 wickets to his credit in the fourth innings of a test.
