MA Starc of Australia captured six for 75 in England’s first innings to provide the eighth occasion of a left arm bowler capturing six or more wickets hauls in a test innings. He became the fifth left arm bowler to capture six or more wicket hauls in a test innings

It also provides the eighth occasion of a left arm pace bowler capturing six plus wickets haul in a test innings. MA Starc now owns the record for most six plus wicket hauls in a test innings. He went past WPUJC Vaas and Wasim Akram who had taken six plus wicket hauls in a test innings on seven occasions.

MA Starc’s six for 75 in England’s first innings at Brisbane provides the 33rd occasion of an Australian left arm pace bowler capturing six or more wickets in a test innings. It also provides the 13th occasion of an Australian left arm pace bowler capturing six or more wickets in a test innings against England. All such occasions are tabulated below.
