V Sehwag completed 1000 runs in calendar year 2010 when he was on 96 during his knock of 173 in this test. At the end of the first day of this test, his aggregate stood at 1077, He became the second batsman to reach the milestone in 2010. SR Tendulkar {1270} is the other batsman.

R Dravid scored hundred in this game when he cut JS Patel’s fourth delivery of 78th over of the innings and took his score from 98 to 100, He made 104 in this test. It was his 24th hundred while batting at number three and 30th hundred while batting at various positions.
