AB de Villiers misses the world record for most boundary fours in a Twenty20 innings by a whisker

AB de Villiers who scored 19 boundary sixes in his knock of 133 not out in the IPL game between Bangalore and Mumbai at Mum-WS on 10.05.15 missed the world record for most boundary fours in a Twenty20 innings by just one boundary four. The record is 20 boundary fours and  is held by Ahmed Shehzad – a Pakistan Cricketer – who scored 20 boundary sixes in his knock of 107 representing Lahore Lions against Stags at Lahore on 08.12.12. One more boundary four by AB de Villiers would have made him to share the record for most boundary fours with Ahmed Shehzad and two more boundary fours would have earned him the world record for most boundary fours in a Twenty20 innings

AB de Villiers and PC Valthaty share the record of most boundary fours in an Indian Premier League innings. Both the batsmen have scored 19 boundary fours
