CH Gayle reaches a new high in T20 games

He has an aggregate of 6975 runs in T20 games prior to the start of IPL 2015 . He needed 25 more runs for his 7000 runs. He reached the 7000 run mark when he was on 25 during his  knock of 96 against Kolkata at Kolkata on 11.04.15.  At the end of Bangalore’s second game against Sunrisers at Bangalore on 13.04.15, his run aggregate read a mammoth 7092. He became the first batman  in the annals of T20 games to total 7000 runs.

He has scored 494 boundary sixes in T20 games as on 13.04.15.  He needs six more boundary sixes to have an aggregate of 500 boundary sixes. If he scores these, he would then become the first batsman in the annals of T20 games to score 500 boundary sixes

He has an aggregate of 559 boundary fours and If he gets 500 boundary sixes, he would earn the distinction of becoming the first batsman in the annals of T20 games to score 500 boundary fours and 500 boundary sixes

 

His 96 against Kolkata at Kolkata on 11.04.15 was his 46th half century in T20 games prior to the start of IPL 2015. He needs four more half centuries for his 50th half centuries  in T20 games. If he gets them, he would then become the first batsman in the history of T20 game to score 50 half centuries.

Rohit Sharma’s feat – becomes the second batsman to total 3000 runs in IPL

RG Sharma became the second batsman after SK Raina to amass 3000 plus runs  in IPL. He earned the coveted distinction when he was 97 during his  knock of 98 not out in the opening fixture of IPL 2015 against Kolkata at Kolkata on 08.04.15. At the end of the game, his run aggregate read an impressive 3001.

 

SK Raina is the other batsman to total 3000 plus runs in IPL. He had an aggregate of 3325 runs as of 08.04.15. He scored four runs in Chennai’s first match against Delhi at Chennai on 09.04.15 and his run aggregate now reads 3329

 

RG Sharma has represented two teams in IPL – Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians.  The runs scored for these two teams are listed below
