CH Gayle of West Indies, RG Sharma of India and TM Dilshan of Sri Lanka are the three opening  batsmen in the history of one day internationals to witness their 150 plus scores going in vain on two occasions. CH Gayle and RG Sharma’s effort have gone in vain against two different oppositions, while TM Dilshan’s effort was against the same opposition,  that is against India. Add to this another oddity -TM Dilshan had identical scores – 160 not out against India at Rajkot on 15.12.09 and 160 against India at Hobart on 28.02.12
