RG Sharma collected his 13th duck as an Indian batsman and his fifth duck as an Indian batsman when he failed to open his account in this game.

RG Sharma and S Dhawan opened the innings in this game to provide the 100th occasion of this pair opening the innings in one day games. They became the third Indian pair of batsman to partner on 100 plu occasions. Other two pairs are – SR Ganguly-SR Tendulkar {176} and V Sehwag-SR Tendulkar {114}
