RV Uthappa with an aggregate of 2586 runs owns the record for most runs scored by a batsman in Vijay Hazare Trophy. He went past MK Tiwary’s aggregate of 2575 runs which was hitherto the record for most runs by a batsman in the tournament. RV Uthappa went past MK Tiwary when  he was on 14 during his knock of 25 against Madhya Pradesh at Delhi on 26.09.18.

MA Agarwal, PK Panchal, and A Mukund joined the list of batsmen who have compiled 2000 plus runs as at the end 27.09.18 in  the ongoing tournament at various venues in the country.

MS Dhoni’s distinction – becomes the first captain wicket keeper batsman to appear in 200 one day games

MS Dhoni became the first captain wicket keeper batsman to appear in 200 one-day internationals. The game against Afghanistan at Dubai-DSC today, that is 25.09.18 was his 200th game. He had quit one-day captaincy with 199 games as a captain wicketkeeper. Today he led India again as the regular captain RG Sharma was rested.
