WP Saha  –  the Indian wicket keeper wrote himself into the record books as the fifth wicket keeper in the annals of test cricket to effect ten dismissals in a test. He pouched five catches in each innings of the test against South Africa at Cape Town. All such occasions are tabulated below

He completed 5000 runs on away soil when he was on 21 during his knock of 244 not out in the  just  concluded test at Melbourne against Australia in Australia. He became the thirteenth batsman and also the first England batsman in the annals of test cricket to amass 5000 plus runs on away soil.
