If he gets it, he would become the fifth Indian batsman to score 1000 plus runs against West Indies. Others are – SR Tendulkar {1573}, R Dravid {1348} and V Kohli {1262}

West Indies have picked KA Hope for the remaining three one day games against India. If they cap KA Hope, he would then become the 48th pair of brothers to represent a team in the history of one day internationals. His brother SD Hope has already represented West Indies in ODIs. The following table lists all the 47 pairs of brothers including half brothers

SD Hope-KA Hope would become the fourth pair to represent West Indies in one day internationals. The following table lists the other three pairs of brothers who have represented West Indies in one day internationals

No Two brothers from West Indies
1 DJ Bravo and DM Bravo (WI) (Half Brothers)
2 PT Collins and FH Edwards (WI) (Half Brothers)
3 MN and RG Samuels (WI)

MS Dhoni has an aggregate of 96 stumping dismissals to his credit prior to the start of this game. He needs three more such dismissals to equal KC Sangakkara’s dismissal of 99 dismissals and four more dismissals for his 100 dismissals. If he gets to 100 dimsissals, he would become the first wicket keeper in the history of one day internationals to effect 100 stumping dismissals.

V Kohli has scored nine half centuries against West Indies prior to the start of this game. He needs one more half century for his tenth half century. If he gets it, he would become the third Indian batsman to score ten or more half centuries. Others are – SR Tendulkar {11} and SC Ganguly {11}

SR Tendulkar and V Kohli own the record for scoring most centuries while batting second in the history of one day internationals. Both the batsmen have scored 17 centuries. V Kohli requires one more century to own the record of scoring most centuries while batting second. This record holds good for  Indian batsmen also

V Kohli has scored 43 fifties while batting second. He needs one more to share the third place {with SC Ganguly who has scored 44 fifties while batting second} amongst the batsmen who have scored most half centuries in one day games. SR Tendulkar {69} and JH Kallis {50} occupy the first two places.

V Kohli has scored 431 runs against West Indies in West Indies. He needs to 69 runs for his 500 runs with which he would become the first Indian batsman to total 500 plus runs against West Indies in West Indies

S Dhawan, V Kohli and RG Sharma own the record for most fifties by an Indian batsman against West Indies in West Indies. All the three batsmen have scored four fifties. V Kohli would own the record for most fifties by an Indian batsman for most fifties against West Indies in West Indies if he scores one more fifty.

MS Dhoni has an aggregate of 9364 runs as a wicket keeper batsman in one day games. He needs 47 more runs to overhaul the run aggregate of 9410 of AC Gilchrist. If MS Dhoni gets these runs he would occupy the second place in the list of wicket keeper batsmen who have scored most runs in one day games. KC Sangakkara occupies the first place with 13341 runs to his credit.
