RG Sharma has scored 98 boundary sixes in his one-day career. Two more boundary sixes would fetch him 100 boundary sixes. If he gets them, then he would become the seventh Indian batsman to score 100 plus boundary sixes. Others are – SR Tendulkar {195}, SC Ganguly 190}, MS Dhoni {188}, Yuvraj Singh {148}, V Sehwag {136} and SK Raina {120}

RG Sharma has scored 98 boundary sixes in his one-day career. Two more boundary sixes would fetch him 100 boundary sixes. If he gets them, then he would become the 29th batsman to score 100 plus boundary sixes in the annals of one day games.

MS Dhoni has an aggregate of 5971 runs representing India in a bilateral series prior to the start of this series. He needs 28 runs for his 6000 runs. If he gets them, he would then become the second Indian batsman to score 5000 plus runs in a bilateral series after SR Tendulkar. SR Tendulkar has an aggregate of 7215 runs in bilateral series

MS Dhoni has an aggregate of 4071 runs as captain in a bilateral series. He needs 132 runs to overhaul the aggregate of RT Ponting who has scored 4202 runs as a captain in bilateral series. If he gets them, then he would own the record for most runs scored by a captain in a bilateral series.

MS Dhoni has played 98 innings as captain in a bilateral series. He needs two more innings for his 100th innings. If he plays two more innings, he would then become the fourth captain in the annals of one day games to play 100 innings in a bilateral series. Others are – SP Fleming {104}, RT Ponting {104} and GC Smith {103}

MS Dhoni has scored 5971 runs representing India as a wicket keeper batsman in a bilateral series. He requires 29 more runs for his 6000 runs. If he gets it, he would then become the second batsman in the annals of one-day game to score 6000 plus runs representing a cricketing nation after KC Sangakkara of Sri Lanka. KC Sangakkara has an aggregate of 6702 runs while keeping wickets for Sri Lanka.

MS Dhoni and KC Sangakkara share the record for most half centuries representing their cricketing nations – India and Sri Lanka – respectively in a bilateral series. Both have scored 44 half centuries. One more half century for MS Dhoni would fetch him the record of scoring most half centuries by a wicket keeper batsman representing a nation in a bi lateral series.

RG Sharma has an aggregate of 492 runs against Australia in a bilateral series. He needs eight more runs for his 500 runs. If he gets them, he would then become the fourth Indian batsman to score 500 runs in a bilateral series against Australia. Others are – SR Tendulkar {833}, MS Dhoni {706} and V Kohli {502}

MS Dhoni has an aggregate of 706 runs against Australia in a bilateral series. He needs 94 runs for his 800 runs. If he gets them, he would then become the second Indian batsman to score 800 plus runs against Australia in a bilateral series against Australia after SR Tendulkar. SR Tendulkar has an aggregate of 833 runs.

RG Sharma has scored 23 boundary sixes against Australia in a bilateral series. He needs two more boundary sixes for his 25 boundary sixes. If he scores them, he would then become the first Indian batsman to score 25 boundary sixes against Australia in a bilateral series.

RG Sharma has scored 23 boundary sixes against Australia in a bilateral series. He needs two more boundary sixes for his 25 boundary sixes. If he scores them, he would then become the third batsman to score 25 boundary sixes against Australia in a bilateral series. The other two are – EJG Morgan of England {31} and KA Pollard of West Indies {24}

RG Sharma is one of the three batsmen to score 30 plus boundary sixes against Australia in one day games. SR Tendulkar {35}, EJG Morgan {34} and RG Sharma {30} are the batsmen who have scored 30 plus sixes against Australia.  RG Sharma needs six more boundary sixes to own the record for most boundary sixes by a batsman against Australia in one day games
