200 plus dismissals by wicket keepers in tests – D Ramdin is the new entrant to the elite list

D Ramdin of West Indies became the 16th wicket keeper in the annals of test cricket to effect 200 dismissals during the first test at Roseau on the second day of the test against Australia. His 200th victim was Australian captain MJ Clarke whom he caught of the bowling of D Bishoo for 18. He dismissed one more batsman – SPD Smith stumped of D Bishoo for 25 – to take his aggregate of dismissals to 201 at Lunch on the second day of the first test match between West Indies and Australia at Roseau. JM Anderson and SCJ Broad captured 50 wickets against New Zealand in the second test against New Zealand at Leeds. JM Anderson returned with figures of 2 for 41 in New Zealand’s first innings and his 50th victim was KS Williamson who was dismissed caught by JC Butler without scoring. At the end of New Zealand’s first innings, JM Anderson had tally of exact 50 wickets against New Zealand. SCJ Broad 50th victim was L Ronchi whom he had caught by JM Anderson. SCJ Broad returned with figures of 5 for 109 and his aggregate wickets against New Zealand read 51 at the end of New Zealand’s first innings.  JM Anderson and SCJ Broad became the 13th and 14th bowlers to capture 50 plus wickets against New Zealand.
